- Elected to Alabama House of Representatives, District 84, in 1998. Currently serving third term having run unopposed since being elected in 1998. Serve on Governmental Appropriations Committee and Health Committee
- Married Rebecca Parish Beasley. Father of five children and 12 grandchildren.
- Past president and member of Alabama Pharmacy Association. Recipient of pharmacy’s most prestigious award, Bowl of Hygeia.
